Sometimes I wake up in Santa Rosa and think... again the lists of things to do, calls, traffic... and at night everything changes. I notice intonations, glances, little pauses... they make it clear how easy it is to be around you. And if at the end of the evening you leave a little more calmly... it means our couple of hours have passed in vain. Such evenings seem like small islands to which it is nice to return thoughts again and again... And I’m just happy to be part of that memory, even if it’s just between us.
